What’s taking so long???? It’s my extended lunch and hope that I can wrap up this doctor’s appointment, get back to work and finish up a few things in the office. The faces in here looked like I felt. I circled the room and sized up each one. All appeared to have the same fatal disease…chronic fatigue coupled with a case of impatience.

It was well past happy hour, you could hear the dance tunes from the street and Hong Kong central was on fire! I don't' know what most fascinated me; the collage of skin hues and accents, the fashion spectrum of Australian outback to Prada or the mused scent of Thai Vietnamese cuisine covered in fresh baked bread. I was taking it all in.
I don’t know what it is about me? I’ve often wondered if this happens to other people too or am I just hyper sensitive to these occurrences. Bruce and I are in the Hong Kong airport waiting on our return flight. As we kill some time I wanted to stop by this Origami museum. I asked Bruce and he opted for the ESPN highlights at the nearby lounge. (imagine that?)

Where has this day gone?! The frustration is like a weight. The kids will be home soon. What can we eat? Hmmm….hamburger helper but no meat, tuna no mayo...peanut butter but not enough bread.

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Lovely. Lovely lived with her parents and her little brother. She had a very special gift and a very special place she often visited.
